PARTNERSHIPS

City of Copenhagen

Together with the Office of Internationalization and Sustainability of the City of Copenhagen, we run experimental and quasi-experimental interventions in a real world setting, with focus on the one central event, which is “Le Grand Depart” of the Tour de France, taking place in Copenhagen in July 2022 and its surrounding two-day bicycle festival called FestiVélo. Because we managed to get engaged at an early stage of the planning process, the BEACON project was involved in the tendering process of food vendors for FestiVélo, increasing our chances for a successful collaboration with private food providers.
